It's the menu markers

Postby sadddletree » Tue Jan 31, 2017 3:26 pm

Going back to the issues we were having with the menu program where if we had content on two lines, once we closed and reopened the program everything was put back on one line with HTML content between the words: The problem is not in the menu program but in the menu markers. How do I know? I opened some files I had worked on in 13 in Elements 15. I had put in menu markers but quit trying to work the menu program itself. The titles for the scenes were messed up just like they had been in 13. So I did up a menu in 15 and fixed up all the scene buttons. In one of the sections I reset the menu and redid it. The titles stayed good - they didn't revert back to having HTML and all being on one line again.

So the problem that I had (and others have had too) is that something is messed up in the menu marker code in 13. (Now, why did it do it on the title page as well? Who knows...)

That happens sometimes, sorry about all the problems you've been having. I remember when I first got started and all the problems I ran into. Between finding the right software and then finding the right computer that worked with that software it about drove me nuts. Been very fortunate the past few years and have had no real critical issues at all :)

Trying to do something in photoshop now. 13 won't let me select text. 15 keeps changing the corner button from angled - so it constrains proportions to enlarge - to either the solid arrow head so it just moves, or to either side or top buttons so it stretches it in either direction. I can't fix this in either program!!!!! Yes, I have had the computer checked out. Frustrated isn't quite the word.................

When I can't select text it is usually because I have not selected the layer that the text is on.

Not sure what you mean by the corner button problem, sorry.
