Templates for DVD Label and for DVD Case Insert

Postby prkraus » Mon Jan 11, 2016 12:32 pm

Are there good Photoshop Elements or other templates for a DVD label (or for printing right on the DVD) and for a DVD case insert? Thanks.

The Photoshop Elements Organizer contains photo projects for creating DVD labels and DVD Case inserts.

If you want to roll your own, read this topic on CD/DVD printing. In it, I provide a basic template and info on dimensions. For case inserts, see this topic on DVD cover creation where Momoffduty provides a generic template.

+1 for Acoustica. I have used it for many years and at US$21.95 it isn't expensive.

Are you printing yourself? Or are you having a printing service do it? If doing it yourself, then I'd recommend whatever software the labels you make are made for. Otherwise, if you're having a printing service do it for you, you will want to use their own templates, as their printers and cutters are calibrated for the specific dimensions they set in them.
