Adjusting the Length of a Title Text Animation Fade In

Hi,

I am using Premiere Elements 13. I created a default text title and used the FocusIn animation for the text. I also applied a fade-in video and fade-out video to the title by right-clicking and selecting those options.

I lengthened the title a little bit to accommodate some audio. The animation seems not to have changed its length as it does in the Lynda.com video course. I can't get it to. I tried removing and reapplying the animation and I also re-selected the fade-in and fade-out. It still doesn't work.

What does the time stretch option do? Any advice?

Are you saying that no matter how long or short you make the title the Focus In animation is the same?

I'm not able to duplicate that. When I shorten the title, the animation is faster. When I lengthen it, it is slower.

Or are you talking about the Fade In and Fade Out? If so, those are a separate adjustment, unrelated to how long or short the title is.

It must have been the fades then. I solved it. I completely redid it.
