Platform for PE13?

Postby BSK751 » Wed Sep 09, 2015 3:53 am

Hi,

Sorry if this is a silly question, but will PE13 work with Windows 7? I have Windows 7 on my PC and 8.1 on my laptop and ideally want to load it onto both.

Thank you :conf:

Specs for V13 for Windows from the Adobe website:

2GHz or faster processor with SSE2 support; dual-core processor required for HDV or AVCHD editing and Blu-ray or AVCHD export; Intel Core i7 required for XAVC-S
Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows 8 (32-bit versions will be installed on 32-bit systems; 64-bit versions will be installed on 64-bit systems)
2GB of RAM
5GB of available hard-disk space to install applications; additional 5GB to download content
1024x768 display resolution (at 100% scale factor)
Microsoft DirectX 9 or 10 compatible sound and display driver
DVD-ROM drive (for installation from DVD)
Compatible DVD burner required to burn DVDs; compatible Blu-ray burner required to burn Blu-ray discs
QuickTime 7 software
Windows Media Player (required if importing/exporting Windows Media formats)
Internet connection required for product activation and content download*

I'm running V11 under Windows 10 so I'm sure that V13 will too, in case you're thinking about making that upgrade.

All three of my computers that I run PE-13 on are windows 7
Main two are i5 dual core 8 gigs ram and i7 quad core 32 gigs ram
Both work great but of course the i7 renders final videos quite a bit faster.
