Need help burning to folder or iso

Postby MaggieMayLove » Tue Jul 14, 2015 11:18 am

I sure appreciate the help found here and your time to help me.
I am having a problem burning to folder or iso.
It goes through the process and then fails at the end saying the burn to folder is complete, but there is no folder anywhere on the computer.
I've tried shortening the video, doing a very small video, but no luck.
After numerous searches on the internet, I have not been able to find an answer.
I am using windows 8.1 on the computer and premiere elements 13.
Does anyone else have this problem or a way to work around it?

Are you sure you've correctly noted where the folder or ISO is being saved to?

If so, I have seen that this has sometimes been a problem for people. Go to the Help menu and Check for Updates to make sure you have the latest patch for Premiere Elements 13. I believe the problem has been fixed.

One other possible solution, if the update doesn't work.

Go to the program's Preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and, on the General page, uncheck the option to use hardware acceleration. That setting seems to be at the root of this strange problem.

Steve,
Thank you so much.
Yes, I was sure of the location of the folder.
I was updated, but I changed the setting under preferences as you suggested
and YES, it works.
Between your book, the video you did and this site, I am learning so much,
but these little quirks really mess me up and I am so thankful for this website and everyone's help here.
thank you again!

Great to hear, Maggie! Though I'm sorry to hear you were victim to this odd bug in the program. It seems to be related to certain graphics cards, though I'm not sure of the specifics.
