Copying project components from PD 16 to PD 19 ultimate

Postby jayzee55 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 10:55 pm

I was working on a complex project in PD 16 and just upgraded to PD 19. I inserted the project file into 19.
It inserted the entire project not the individual components of the project. I tried to copy all the pieces en masse in 16, but lost them when I closed 16 to open 10.
I was unable to paste.
How can i get the individual components in to my upgrade without having to reedit them?
Thank You in advance
Jay Z

It may or may not be possible, Jay Z. PowerDirector is pretty good about opening older projects -- but I've never tried a three generation leap backwards.

it might be best to finish this project in version 16 and use version 19 for your new projects.
