I think this is a great strategy. You can't cater to everyone with one set of features in one product at one price. Of course even with four products there will still be overlap and things that some will want that won't be included, but it should be easier to choose a product that better suits an individual's needs. It's a more expensive option for GoPro, but I hope that they'll be able to service enough new customers to make it profitable and thus worth their while.
Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Agreed. I think it is a testament to what the GoPro has brought to the table in terms of consumer and professional attributes. I think the cameras have stepped beyond the novelty phase and can be relied on to produce quality video. I am really excited to see what their new offerings are going to be.

Looks like there is some additional info regarding GoPro's new camera plans.

But it always makes me smile when they say leaked. I think it is more like lets se what the public thinks before we decide to make this new contraption.

I still have my Black 3+ and all the doors and many accessories. A big box of gear I haven't used in a few years. I did get a lot of use from the little camera. Wonder if there is a resale market for the 3+ ?

Oh No! :hyst: Funny how some listings say with tons of accessories. I have about 3x as many accessories. The changing of the back doors was a pain. And only 1080p. Maybe I'll gift my stuff to a museum one day. :fg:

Mom you might consider putting a rib cage backbone on the camera it would alloy you to mount DSLR lenses on the camera.

https://www.back-bone.ca/product/ribcage-mod-kit-2/
Your camera will then be able to take micro M12, CS-Mount or C-Mount lenses. Attach almost any other type of lens with optional C-Mount adapters $89 USD

Sidd, the backbone looks interesting. I skimmed a video on how to dismantle and attach. Looks like a lot of work.

I think you are right. I watched the video and it looks like you really need some nimble fingers and a lot of patience.
