Breakfast with the Crows

Postby sidd finch » Sun Jan 16, 2022 11:59 am

A quick follow up to my prior posting with crows. But sadly all the remining macadamia nuts have been consumed.

I am guessing that not too many crows vacation in Hawaii and bring back macadamia nuts for their friends...... :ha: So they went a bit overboard.

Crows scare me. They are very smart and have a memory. You were smart to feed them Sidd.

Quoth the Raven “Nevermore

In the last year or so we have had an abundance of crows in our neighborhood. I have even seen on the news that crows are impacting some of the downtown areas because they all show up looking for food and making a mess. I tried to follow the Halloween mantra of "make sure you have the best candy so the kids won't wanna mess with your house" when feeding the crows. Crows are supposed to be smart righr???. :hyst:

Video of the early morning murder of crows.

I have even seen news reports of the crows here in Atlanta Sidd, crazy stuff. They always start the news report with video from Alfred Hitchock's The Birds :hyst:
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Chuck that is funny you mentioned that. Our local news played a clip from the birds movie too. I did some reading and the movies is inspired by an actual event. Looks like it was an algae bloom the crows ate that made them psycho (not to be confused with the other Hitchcock movie).
