My first thought was.... NO they are not going to hit the camera with the club...Then I thought what a waste of a nice camera. As much as I like GoPro I would love for them to focus on more than just the extreme crowd. The cameras can do more than just record some knucklehead doing something questionable.

I put this in the same category as the folks who will take a brand new iPhone, subject it to all sorts of torture until it's finally destroyed completely, then post the event to YouTube as if it's entertainment.

I was kind of hoping that it was just a mock-up.

This fits into the category of just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I wonder how many attempted camera returns GoPro will receive for people who "broke" their camera while golfing. :)

I know for a fact that my GoPro H3 Black is stronger than my arm!!! (GoPro seems unbroken, though i only barely tested it following smacking it (as well as myself and 2 other cameras) to the ground).

OK, OK, let me state for the record that what I did WAS questionable and knuckleheaded, but totally UN-intentional - I would NEVER do what i did on purpose!! #-o

And that is the difference in a nutshell. Trying to do something knuckleheadish is by definition knuckleheadish..... :hyst:

I hope you are on the mend :)
