Z1 Rider Mini 3 Axis Gimbal for GoPro

Postby Ron Hunter » Mon Mar 02, 2015 4:09 pm

I saw this product over on CheesyCam's site and it looks like a cool idea for GoPros. This product allows you to mount the GoPro + gimbal on any standard GoPro mount because the power and control come from a cabled attachment. My GoPro is too old to benefit from this but anyone using a newer version would probably like this:

After watching CheesyCam's review of this thing, I'm seriously considering upgrading my HD Hero2 GoPro and buying this gimbal! It will be a lot easier to get good follow shots with that than with my GH4.

Kind of a neat idea to separate the battery from the controller especially when adding a monopod. These thing are just so darn expensive at almost $400. Especially when compared to some of the exact same brushless gimbals that you mount to a quadcopter. I have seen those going for approx. $100.
