I was expecting to see a golf ball through the window. :fg:

That was too funny, I couldn't stop laughing!!

Haven't we all had that happen? Capture epic footage (well, not skiing off a thousand foot cliff epic) and end up copying over it? I loved it when out of nowhere the dog was standing in the creek.

I guess this is better than recording over your wedding video? :-8

That was pretty funny. My trick is to head out before I remember to check the batteries.... So my footage would suddenly cut to black ala the Sopranos style.

I always check my camera batteries. I just sometimes unintentionally hit the record button twice instead of once. Some of my best camera work never made it to the camera. :pull:

I've done the same thing Bob! Hit stop instead of record. I have some great footage of nothing. :) I saw a video a guy edited for his parents. It was about 20 shots of his Dad's feet. Guess he forgot to turn the camera off and the camera was hanging off the shoulder.

That's a great excuse! I'll have to remember that one.

What can be the pros and cons to use a pov helmet with DSLRs vs GoPro?

Too heavy Francesco! My neck aches just looking at the helmet rig. :-8
