The Curve is a $100 value Steve. Win a Curve and then a good reason to get the GoPro. :)

Filling out their entry form gets you on their spam email list. In their contest rule section they say "We do not send spam" but that is a lie. After you fill out the form you get words in affect that say you can opt out of spam email after you get it. In some cases, that only proves you are a real person and the spam continues non-stop.

I have an extra e-mail account I use for these kind of things. Then I can just delete everything because I am not receiving anything of importance.

The curve seems pretty cool but I am hard pressed to use one. I have had a hard time mastering the technique. I have been looking into a brushless gimbal to use with a monopod that looks like it might do the trick. It will be a Frankenstein version but should keep the footage nice and steady.

I think Mom only has 1 of the curve because she is saving up for the GPH4 Black.... :-8

Yes, only one Curve. I took it to Mexico to get walking shots, but I didn't factor in the slightest breeze knocks it around. I'll still use it to chase after the grandkids. In the lock position it does make a great handle. It is meant to be used for the GoPro with the LCD screen. Recently a weight attachment came out for the Curve so you don't need the LCD screen attached.

Sidd great idea on the extra email. I don't mind if companies send me spam once in awhile. But, one company that I won't mention spammed me 2 or 3 times a day. Yes, there were some good deals but it was too much so had to opt out.

No GPH4 on my list this year. I got the 70D and a new lens this year so I am out of gear requests for 2014.
