A short vignette for the grandgirls. I had to jump out of the way a few times. :-D

Now that was way too cool. Looks like they had a blast. The mount looked like it worked really well too. I think half the fun of these cameras if imagining where you want to place it to capture footage. Plus you get such a cool view of the kids just having a blast. Something you miss when just standing there watching.

I think this video would be a great candidate for GoPro video of the day :)

Job well done as usual.

Lots of fun, and much cheaper than a Miata! You know what would be a hoot? In the shot from the side at 00:46 where you can see under the car, put in some animated feet, like the Flintstones!

Thanks for the link Sidd. Done!

Dave, aahhhh I forgot to get the Flintstones feet shots. ](*,)

I used the GoPro Jaws Flex Clamp. The reason the camera pointed downward out of position is that I didn't have the bolt to the camera plate on top tightened down. So, user error. I was surprised that the jaws mount didn't break free. I wanted to mount the cam on the back of the car, but daughter was afraid I would break or scratch the Barbie car. The trunk is thicker than the the hood.

GoPro has some removable instrument mounts that would work well. they do not sell refills of the adhesive but you could DIY with the 3M removable adhesive used for hanging pictures.

Thanks Peru! They had a lot of fun and ran it until the battery died.

Sidd, are those the same stickies that come with the camera? They look different. I wouldn't want to mar the finish on the car or I will get in trouble from the daughter.

Thanks Steve! Their joy is in infectious. They thought it was really funny to fake Grandpa out by aiming for him. :-D When I was editing the video I kept thinking about the movie Thelma & Louise. They had a convertible too?

Mom those are not the same mounts that come with the camera. These are made to be removed while the mounts that come with the camera are for permanent adhesion.

but the are a one time mount and remove, which is why you might need to get the 3M command strips to use the mounts more than once.

Thanks John! :)

Sidd, thanks for the clarification. Good idea on the removable strips. I do use the 3M mounts to hand holiday stuff on the mantel.

What a wonderful video! Yes, their joy is infectious; how could you hear that giggling and see those smiles and be in a bad mood?

We went through a few Power Wheels vehicles when our kids were small and I got loads of footage with miles of smiles!

Thanks Ron and yes I our oldest had a pink big wheel. Wonder if they still make them.

Lots of fun Cheryl, gotta thank God for the grandkids ! Just when you think there's nothing left to shoot, here they come and make your day :)

The only thing I would say is to add more music and less "road noise", maybe mic the girls to get more of their voices instead of the car noise ;) Great stuff as always, you are still amazing and an inspiration to all !
