Mmmm.....yum! I too think the colors in your photo are great. Definitely some still life material there!

The early morning coffee inspired me to climb the tree and pick a batch. I love the colors of those plums so much that I had to take a picture of them before they become jam. We really enjoy giving away jars as gifts to our friends. Not to many folks here make jam so it is a fun way to give something unique. We put it on ice-cream, yogurt, toast, stir-fry, and with cream cheese and crackers. So it has more of a life than just for sandwiches. \:D/

The plums are gorgeous Sidd. The lost art of jam making. Have to send us some virtual jam or maybe a video of the process? My mother made the best tomato jelly. It was flavored with a touch of orange rind, very good. One year my father and I made tomato sauce. It took all day, but had many jars of sauce when done that lasted a long time.

Thanks Paz & Chuck. I just realized that tomorrow is the one year since this last video clip. I went and looked at the tree and sure enough there are blossoms. Not as many as last year at this time but the tree is popping. I will have to go out and shoot some blossoms and some buds to update for this year.

Chuck the great thing about virtual jam is that is never runs out.... lol I will see what I can get posted.

Funny, one year to the day, today! I didn't notice. Just having a hankering for spring. SO glad to hear you have blossoms, Sidd! I've checked, I have buds that are about the size of a BB. It's been a long, cold, miserable winter.

I really do love this video. I think you're my mentor, Sidd. I keep wishing I could do what you do! lol

Chuck,

Sidd made some virtual jam. There's a video of it around here somewhere...

Wow thanks Paz that is very kind. You inspired me to go out and post a 1 year update to the Plum Blossoms.

More buds than blossoms but the tree is ready to pop that is for sure.
