Adjust Lighting and Color

Postby Walter Seaton » Tue Jul 22, 2014 4:52 pm

I own PRE8 and have decided to upgrade to PRE12. I have ordered your book from Amazon (delivery about next week) and will purchase the upgrade as soon as your book arrives.
The project on which I am currently working includes a large amount of digitized Regular8 and Super8 film, some of it shot as far back as 1956. The images need considerable color correction and here is my question: Does PRE12 have better color correction capabilities (perhaps closer to Photoshop's "Adjust Lighting" and "Adjust Color" features) in place of the very limited features in PRE8? If so, I would just take a "production holiday" until I have PRE12 installed.

Thank you,
Walter

Yes. The Adjustments tools added in version 11 have made adjusting things like color, light, exposure, temperature, tint, etc. very easy!
