Jpeg Files

In Roxio Easy Media Creator you could add photo files to a dvd slide show dvd builder project. Is there a way to add separate photo files to any projects in PRE11 ? Could you not finalize the disc being burnt and add separate photo (jpeg) files before burning the project ?

With this option users could use the photo files used in the slide show for printing and other file options.

Hi IOP,

You cannot do this directly with Premiere Elements but can with a free product that we recommend for this purpose. If you burn your project to a file, rather than a disk, and then use ImgBurn to create the disk you will be able to add additional files at the time you burn.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

ImgBurn is very good, but be very careful when you install ImgBurn and read every screen in the installer. The installer for the current version will want to install other programs which you will likely not want. Read this forum topic to find out how to avoid installing the unwanted programs. You can get ImgBurn from the author's site, select one of the listed Mirrors to download the installer.

Once a dvd disc is finalized, that's it. You can't add anything more to it. Instead of burning directly to a dvd disk, publish it to a folder. There should be a folder options in the Burn To menu. Once burned to a folder on your hard drive, open the folder. You should have a VIDEO_TS folder and probably an OpenDVD folder. Create a new folder alongside the others to contain your jpegs. You can delete the OpenDVD folder, if present. It's not needed.
