Best Final Output

Postby Ned789 » Tue Dec 10, 2013 5:01 am

I am working in Premiere Elements 11 on a Mac. I have created a high definition slideshow/video containing photos and AVCHD video. I will be displaying it from a Windows laptop onto a 106" screen using a projector to a large group of people. I have read a lot in your books and in the Forum, but please give me a clear-cut answer as to which output format will give me the very best picture. Thank you.

I would recommend Publish & Share/Computer/AVCHD with the YouTube HD preset.

This will give you an excellent-looking, compact file that should play on pretty much any computer and look as good as your original footage.

Although I would also recommend you download VLC Media Player to your Windows computer and use it to play back the footage. It's the best all-around media player out there (and it's free).

THANK YOU, Steve. I am a new user (2 weeks) on this forum, and I LOVE LOVE being able to get quick, accurate answers to my questions. I also LOVE your books; not sure how I would get along without them.
