Help with transition options background color

Hi all,

Been a while since I have posted -also been a while since I got back into editing

I have used PRE 4 extensively and made the jump to PRE 11. I am getting used to the new layout and controls but so far am liking the interface. The problem I am having is in defining a background color for a flip over transisition. The default "background" color is grey (which always annoyed me) and I seem to remember fixing this by adding a track of black color below the video track I am working on which would create a black background during the flip over transition. This doesn't seem to work in PRE 11.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The background fill color is included as part of this transition.

Double-click on the transition on your timeline to open its Transition Adjustments. On this panel, click the More button and scroll down to see the individual settings for the transition. At the button of the panel, click the Custom button.

On the Flip Over Settings panel that appears, you'll find the option to select and set any fill color you'd like.
