A-Z

Postby Bubby Grub » Wed Sep 18, 2013 8:48 pm

Hi All,

This is a very basic question, no problem with 11 itself, but the one thing I do like to do is when I first set up a project I like to have
folders, named, video, music, narration, backgrounds whatever I want for that project. Now I can either set by list view or grid, and
file name ascending or duration, but what I can't seem to get it to do is to stay say in a-z order after I have closed the program, while
the project is open the folders stay in a-z order but when I close and re-enter the folders are out of order. Is there a way I can get
the folders to stay in the order I want them.
Thanks in advance  BG

What order are your files listed, Bubby? Mine are always in alpha-numeric order.

Or do you mean that the folders don't appear alphabetical with the rest of the files?

EDIT
Okay, I just checked and your'e right -- the folders don't list alphabetically for some reason. I'm not sure why that is, or what to do about it.

Hi Steve,

I would think an easy solution would be.. say you have a folder "A-Pictures" and the rest of the folders in Alphabetical order... let's say through "F-SoundEffects" Perhaps if you relabeled them: "01-A-pictures" and "06-F-SoundEffects" they would stay in order.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the thought, but have tried that also, but at this stage nothing seems to keep them in the A-Z order.
BTW Great to hear from you again, have missed your little videos BG :-D
