Logo drops below frame line when making .mov or mpeg file

Postby andersonfilm » Sat Feb 09, 2013 12:42 pm

The logo near the bottom of the frame, but inside the title safe line, drops below the frameline when I save the project to .mov or mpeg files. The project is in HD, but I want to make standard def. DVD's. When the fil;es save the logo drops into the letterbox area of the screen.

This can happen sometimes when you're working with MPEGs, for some reason.

Here's a workaround. BEFORE YOU ADD THE LOGO, use Publish & Share/Computer/AVI Widescreen (or MOV Widsescreen on a Mac) to output an AVI or MOV of your movie as a standard definition video.

Then open a new project and put the AVI or MOV on the timeline and add your logo to it. If you now output an MPEG, MOV or DVD file from your project, the logo should stay in place.
