Question on Installing Premier Elements 11 on a Windows 7 Mahine
I’m new here, and this is my FIRST of any kind go-around with video editing. I just purchased Adobe Premier Elements 11 AND Steve Grisetti’s book. And I just installed the program and Apple’s Quicktime.
Right off the bat I have an important question. I use Windows 7. I was of the understanding that Premier Elements 11 has been optimized for 64-bit. Yet, on automatic installation of both PE11 and Quicktime they were placed in the “Program Files (x86)” folder, which, I believe, is where 16- and 32-bit programs are supposed to reside. Is this correct? Should I delete everything and carefully reinstall including placing PE11 and Quicktime in the 64-bit Program Files folder?
Thank you,
Howard
