Any way to export audio as an MP3 or WAV?

Postby Gerry » Sun Nov 18, 2012 12:53 pm

Is there any way to export just the audio tracks as an MP3 or WAV file? I have several tracks that I want to mix into one audio file.

I don't have PrEl 11, but in V10 you choose Share > Computer > Audio and then the desired preset for the MP3 or Windows Waveform (WAV). I suspect that it will be very similar in V11.

It's still the same as Dave wrote above :TU:
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Ok, blind time.

I go to Share/Computer and get the choices of: Adobe Flash Video, MPEG, and AVCHD. If I go to the "Advanced" button in any of them, I can see where I can choose to export audio or video or both. If I choose Audio on any of them, I'm not seeing an option for MP3.

For example, the MPEG option gets me "Audio Format: Dolby Digital, MPEG or PCM" options. The "Adobe Flash Video" only gives me "AAC, AAC+Version1, and AAC+Version2" options.

I'm sure it's right in front of me, but... uh... where?

I am not in front of my editing computer but are you sure you can not scroll down to see more export options other than Adobe Flash Video, MPEG, and AVCHD???

It should look something like this:

Sheesh. THANKS.

That scroll bar is so light I never even noticed it.

BTW, I discovered that having multiple audio tracks means I can use PREL as a poor man's audio editing/mixing program. This completes the discovery!
