Making a project in the Trial version - watermark

Postby mercurycoach » Wed Sep 26, 2012 5:06 pm

I upgraded to version 10 earlier this week and am waiting on my "free" copy of version 11, I guess sometime in the next 2 weeks.

I downloaded the trial version of 11 as I figured I might as well have my learning curve be on the newest version but I wasn't expecting the watermark across the middle of the screen in putting together a production.

If I spend the time making a movie now with the trial, will the watermark disappear once I get my code for the free upgrade?

I've got a bunch of work to do NOW, it is the middle of the cross-country season after all.

Thanks for any help!

Previous versions have always worked like that.

Although, if you've rendered your timeline in the trial version, you may need to delete your rendered files (go to Timeline/Delete Render Files) to get rid of any footage that was rendered with the watermark on it.

Thanks for that tip Steve, I certainly wouldn't have been able to figure that one out.

When can I get the combined book? I'm going to need all the help I can get.

The combined book should be available in late October. Sorry for the delay!
