Dual Monitor SupportDoes V11 support dual monitor setup?
Re: Dual Monitor SupportIndeed it does! In fact, there's an option to set up a Dual Monitor Workspace which makes the timeline a separate panel so that you can have the timeline in one monitor and the rest of the interface in the other.

Whoa... this is worth the price of admission alone! Dell XPS 8500 desktop w/ Intel i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4ghz / 22 gigs RAM / Radeon HD7570 1g dedicated video memory/ PrEl 11 & 9 / Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 / After Effects CS4 / Olympus OM-D E-M5 DSLR (1080i HD video)

Re: Dual Monitor Support
WOW! I loved that I could do that in version 2. I would have the time line and properties panel on my 23 inch monitor spread out the full length and I could see the key-frames better spread out. Another reason for me to upgrade from 10 to 11. Thanks for that info Steve. Thanks

Re: Dual Monitor SupportV-10 can be used with dual monitors and I believe V-9 too. Go into the "window" dropdown panel and select "show docking headers". Then you can drag the timeline over to monitor 2. I also put the "trim " window over there along with the mixer just to fill in the space and give me audio meters for every track. In V-11 , in the "window" drop down there is a dual monitor click option that moves the timeline to the second monitor. And you can drag the other panels to the second monitor also. Makes for a very nice work space. There is a tutorial available on Muvipix that explains dual monitor setup.
Re: Dual Monitor Support
It does have "Show Docking Headers," but when I try to do anything with the windows I get the "Adobe Premiere Elements has stopped working" error. Re: Dual Monitor Support
Yes I can move my timeline in version 10 and the monitor. but nothing else. I would like to move the properties panel and project media panel etc but their all locked into one and unmovable. I hope more useful panels can be moved in 11. Thanks

Re: Dual Monitor Support
I think that upgrading from 9 to 11 would be well worthwhile Gerry. The problem you are having could be a graphics driver problem but it probably won't be an issue in a newer version. 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Dual Monitor Support
Thanks, Chuck. Actually, I'm planning to upgrade. Just waiting to see if any major problems are spotted before I do. Re: Dual Monitor SupportI am trying the dual monitor workspace button version 11(downloaded trial version) and I see that the time line zoom in slider does not stay with timeline when time line moves to 2nd monitor.
I like that in version 10 it stays with timeline when I move it there. Thanks
