Hi Ron, thanks for the warm welcome back. I have been taking a "sabbatical" from video editing (and other stuff) for the last six or seven months but with the release of PRE 11 I thought it would be a good time to make a come back. So expect some regular posting from me going forward. :-D

I've been missing too, for a lot more than just months! This was a sad reminder to me that I never even did a single project on PRE10. I need to get my act together.

A year or so ago I thought there was a chance that I could buy Premiere Elements 10 for $15.00 over in the Adobe business store. After my order was processed, I was disappointed to learn that I wasn't buying 10, but didn't do anything more about it and forgot about it until I received an email from Adobe a few days ago.

On the day version 11 became available, I received an email from Adobe that an upgrade to version 11 was available for me to download along with the serial number. Now I see that I was buying Premiere Elements 11 on some sort of volume licensing upgrade agreement. I still don't understand it completely. I may have to buy something now for a nominal amount in order to get an upgrade to version 12 next year.

Anyway, it might be worth checking out if you are planning on upgrading every year.
