Great work Gail, love how you used all of the scrapping stuff. Especially loved the view master at the beginning Digital scrapbooking has a great future and people are just now starting to get an idea of how to do it. I think that digital scrapbooking is going to be very popular in the not so distant future. When combined with video it can make a simply awesome production. I think you will be plenty busy, excellent work

Thanks for all the nice comments! If anyone wants any help or suggestions for finding or using these fun materials, I would be happy to help. The best part is that the supplies are re-usable and easily recolored/changed in PE. I can literally come up with supplies for any theme you could name, and it's so much fun to incorporate them into a show! I've done shows for customers using so many different themes now, and people love the fact that it makes their shows very unique. The Muvipix motion videos, sound effects, etc., work really well with the digital scrap supplies. For instance, I just finished a show with a rock and roll theme, and used the Muvipix "curtain opening" motion video. Look at the background in the view master credits- recognize the motion video? Yup- Moviepix! Combining animation, 3-d effects, and scrap booking supplies, the possibilities are endless. Gail

Gail I really like your way of making a slideshow more fun. How to you animate your scrapbook pieces, it seems like a lot of work went into that part.

Yes-It does add to the work, but it's a fun challenge to come up with new ways to use everything- it forces me to explore some effects, etc., that I may never use otherwise. re Chuck"s comments: - My favorite digital scrapbooking store hands down is "Scrapgirls". http://store.scrapgirls.com/storefront.phpThey have a large selection of beautiful materials, and a great assortment of tutorials in their "university". If you sign up for their daily newsletter, you also get a cool "freebie" everyday. Speaking of "freebies", the vast array of free digital scrapbooking supplies out there is amazing. Just choose a topic, and google it adding "freebie" -for instance, if I'm looking for a soccer kit, I'd google,"digital scrapbooking supplies soccer freebie", and I'm sure to get some good ones for free. Be sure to note where and when the supplies you get are for personal use or not- You can purchase many of the supplies for commercial use. And most of the sites request a strict "no sharing" policy. At this point, I could use a whole separate organizer in PE for my scrap supplies alone!

This is entirely possible, you can have separate Catalogs for different things. Choose under > File > Catalog... and follow the instructions.

I know, but the problem is that 1) I need to bring the supplies and photos together into my editor frequently, and 2) When I 'm creating the movies in Premier, I need to quickly and easily access both the supplies as well as the photos.
By the way, when I use the supplies in movies, I often pre- design things such as layouts, and recolor/change things, in the Editor, and save them as new files.

Thanks gpecht! I had no idea about this feature. I am still using PSE5, guess it will work. This will come in handy when I am working on someone's slideshow and when done can delete that catalog.

Mom - you are welcome Gail, depending on what OS you are using, you could use the free Windows Live Photo Gallery to organize your scrappy things. You could have both the PSE Organizer and the Windows Organizer open at the same time. I believe you can just via drag&drop get your media into the PRE media bin. Here is a link to check it out: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-photo-gallery-organize-edit-share-using?os=winxp
