but am going with the under-rated band from the 90's - "Archers of Loaf" instead.

The first time I heard them was live in Green Bay Wisconsin. They were the opening act, followed by The James Gang, and finally Foghat for their Energized tour. That was in 1974. I really like a lot of their music.

I cant believe you guys missed this one: It celebrated it 25-30 year since it was created. Now that is some great editing for "old school"

and as far as Sweet goes this was a band that cranked. Ballroom Blitz Little Willie and of course:

Watching all of these makes me want to grow my hair out again and buy some white pants. I already know what I'm posting next Friday.

I was kind of waiting on Ed, must have gotten too busy this week.

Here is one of my favorites from the 70's, at least until they released Locomotion...
This one is from their first album in 1969, they released two that year.

I wonder how long THAT drummer lasted, Sidd!

Spinal Tap is certainly one of my three favorite fictional bands.

I loved this band. Especially No Turning back. But this was a good song too.

Things are a bit slow where I am today so maybe we can get Video Friday started...this is not actually the Monkees, just post-Monkees Mickey Dolenz.

Nice video, Stan!

Mickey was, technically, neither a musician nor a singer -- but he actually had a very nice voice for rock!
