Sad to Say Leslie West departed today RIP. I loved this somg. Leslie referred to this song as a big chocolate shake of a song

In an interview with Guitar Player earlier this year, West said the song “has just everything you need to make it a winner. You’ve got the cowbell, the riff is pretty damn good, and it sounds incredible. It feels like it wants to jump out of your car radio. To me, it sounds like a big, thick milkshake. It’s rich and chocolatey. Who doesn’t love that?”

It doesn't get any better than that. Rest In Peace Leslie.

I think with the vaccine on its way this makes for a good memory.

Don't know if he was ever well known in the USA but another of the 1960's icons passes on.

It's Friday!

Love this group. The singer is Lowell George's little girl. Awhile back my wife got us tickets at a small venue in Annapolis MD as a gift for me. I literally was putting my feet on the edge of the stage in front of them.

1964 and I was jocking a lot of this stuff; fun years! I liked the Animals and tolerated Fabian. :hyst:

It's Friday!

She reminds me of my wife back in the day, except blonde hair instead of red.

During that period they were my favorite group and I had and wore their "T"shirt a great deal. It was fantastic! :yh:
