Monopod counterweight

Postby sidd finch » Tue Jul 26, 2022 12:30 pm

If you enjoy using a monopod I found small inexpensive counterweight that screws into the end of the monopod. It helps offset the weight of the camera so your arm does not get as fatigued as quickly.

Adding more weight so your arm doesn't get so tired? Interesting concept, Sidd.

That's what I thought at first. My guess is that it redistributes the weight so that it's not all above your hand; not top-heavy.
Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Holding the monopod with camera for extended periods of time does put a strain on the arm.
