Ron QQ for you please.

Lately when I am adding a video link from you tube to one of my posts I sometimes get the video to display and other times I just get the url link. Good example is my Happy Easter thread I just posted. One video displays and the other video does not. Any thoughts?

I have noticed that our site is kind of picky about how we list the URL for YouTube.

I rewrote yours in your other link, Sidd. Both appear now.

It's hard to explain, and I barely get it myself.

But sometimes YouTube videos show up as https://youtu.be/NvjtzKUaq-s and sometimes as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvjtzKUaq-s. Those are URLs for the same video. But if you use the youtu.be address, our forum won't display the video as part of its HTML.

Does that make sense?

Sorry, guys. Was out on an extended vacation, but Steve nailed it. The board software isn't setup for the newfangled YouTube URLs.
