Frost

Postby sidd finch » Fri Feb 25, 2022 2:07 pm

Since our spring like weather got zapped recently and we are back to the cold, I thought I would have a little Friday fun with the frost that has been on the car's windshield. Disliked the cold but the patterns looked so cool. Could this be Mother Natures Rorschach test??? :ha:

That was great. ::CLAP:
The music and edits were perfectly synced.

Did anybody else see a forest and a Moon landscape?

Thanks Bob, I was actually waiting for the car to warm up in the morning and the closer I looked the more interesting the pattern. Must be a slow day... :hyst:

Superb! That's something I've never seen anyone do before. The editing made it even more interesting, and the music syncs were spot on. :TU:

Sidd, you can even make a bunch of ice look interesting the middle of winter!

Seriously, it is beautifully shot and edited.

Dave, Steve & ed thank you for the kind words. This little project was a lot of fun to create. All I used was an iPhone to take the pictures set in 16x9 mode. The car was facing east so I was able to get the natural light coming through the frost. I thought just a slide show might not be very interesting but adding some movement gave it a bit more interest. The music is by the great Hans Zimmer.

So glad you enjoyed my little project.

What did I see..... A giant coming towards me at full speed..... ohhh wait that was the person walking by the front of the car... :hyst:

Just when I was trying to embrace the cold..."KAPOW" the temp has heated up and no more frost. One thing I am curious about is that I snapped photos from the inside of both our cars and noticed that from one car the image is more like a long frost smudge and the other has these long crystalized patterns that look like veins of frost. Very interesting. I was wanting to try out a macro lens to capture some images but might need to wait till next winter.... :ha:
