Here's a photo of Wolf Rock I took that day with a Yashicaflex TLR medium format camera, circa 1961, and Ilford Delta 100 film.

Re: Analog PhotographyThis a new film camera that came out! It looks like a very nice camera, but hats off to the designers because it's basically a toy camera. It's very light because it's all plastic, including the lens, which is a two element lens at least. I was so afraid I would break something off loading the film. At $50 it's very over priced. It's a half frame camera, so you get 72 exposures from a 36 exposure roll of film. My plan is to take complimentary photos for each frame, two halves, so it would basically still be 36 exposures. Think a head shoot and then a full body shot. It does have a flash, which is very welcome. I'm not sure I loaded it correctly because the film counter is very small and almost impossible to read, at least for my old eyes. I think it would be best with 200 speed film since it's fixed at 100 shutter speed and 9.5 exposure. I only had 400 speed black and white film available, so that's what I'm shooting the first try with. I'll post a review after I finish and have developed the first roll of film. Re: Analog PhotographyHere's some photos I took with the Kodak Ektar H35 camera. Some with 400 ASA and some with 200 ASA black and white film. Pretty happy with the camera, although I did tend to get over exposed images even with the 200 ASA film. I did have to adjust the levels on some of them post processing. But, better to be over exposed then under exposed!
Re: Analog PhotographyVery nice Ed. I liked the presentation with two different views of the same subjects at the same time. The music was sweet.

Re: Analog PhotographyThanks Dave. The music is from this Mashable offer I posted on, and went ahead and purchased - https://muvipix.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17661
Re: Analog PhotographyEd I really liked this video clip. The pictures really make it seem like you are in the 1960's going back in time. It is fun to watch the journey. I did not realize that it is a half frame camera. Even though it says it on the camera itself. DOH!! But the contrast between the two different shots makes for a cool presentation which is kind of cool. Keep up the good work.

Re: Analog PhotographyMy wife says I have a mental illness - I bought two more film cameras I came across at a Salvation Army store. I got a Canon Sure Shot Zoom-S for $12.99 and a Canon Rebel G for $20. Both in pristine condition; put batteries in them and they fired right up.
I put Ilford HP5+ film in the Zoom-S to see if it's functioning correctly. It may be the nosiest camera I've ever used between the sound the zoom makes and the shutter release. Definitely not for street photography. It's an auto focus point and shoot circa 1989. The lens is an excellent glass 6 element lens, with a 38-60mm f/3.8-5.6 zoom. It's a little large and heavy for a point and shoot, but was a pioneer in the genre. I don't see using this a lot, but will bring it out a few times a year. A plus is it works with film up to 3200 speed and has a decent flash.

Re: Analog PhotographyI think this is my photo of the year, not counting family photos. I may have an 8x10 print done and hang it in my office. I love the subject, old 10 speed bike without tires, and the contrast (no PhotoShop adjustments). Taken with a Yashica Electro 35 CCN camera at Doc Watson's Cider. It's a cool place, an apple orchard that opens up in the Fall with alcoholic and non-alcoholic cider, with a huge field and fire pits. People bring there kids and play lawn games. I got a lot of good photos on this roll, and will probably post a slide show.

Re: Analog PhotographyYou've got a good eye, Ed. There is something about black and white photography that lends a completely different take on a subject. Nice job. My dad used to really be into black and white prints. He was a member of the local photography club and really enjoyed the hobby. Had a darkroom and printed his own enlargements. I have a number of them. Maybe I can figure out a way to upload them here one of these days. I think they're mostly 11x14s and too big for my scanner.

Dave you could always just take a pic of them with your iPhone and post. Sidd Vivere memento. – 'Remember to live..'

Yes, but I’m thinking that wouldn’t do them justice. Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Re: Analog PhotographyI’ve seen where people use a digital camera on a tripod to get a ‘scan’ of a photo. I imagine you would need to get the lighting right though.

Re: Analog Photographyed thought of you on this one. I was watching the news and they had a feature on film cameras... (skip to 18:02). Looks like you are at the forefront of old is new again.
