Adobe Premier Rush

Postby BuddyB » Wed May 06, 2020 3:39 pm

I have it available, but haven't fiddled with it. Obviously there are limitations with it or they wouldn't have Premier Pro. Does anyone have any thoughts on it. I've been donking around with Cyberlink Power Director and Vegas Pro. I'm an Adobe fan, and if Rush is any good I'd rather fool with it. In my latter years I've discovered if you're gonna' be good at anything you really have to concentrate on few apps. And my head (not logical) wants to do it all..and that is impossible. Any thoughts from my people here will be greatly appreciated. My brain is like Ricochet Rabbit, and that is not always a good thing. :-D

Thanks for the cross-reference, Sidd.

Rush isn't meant to compete with Premiere Pro or Premiere Elements. It's primarily designed to work on mobile devices or to work with video handed off from mobile devices (although its projects can also be opened in Premiere Pro). After a half a year of toying with it, I'm convinced it's still early in its development.

A nice, simple and FREE alternative is the Windows Video Editor, which is already loaded on your Windows 10 computer. If you're looking for a simple editor, this might be the one to consider.

Thanks for that Steve, it will help me make a decision. I will check that out. However, and unfortunately, I've never been prone to the easier, and with no formal training I usually stumble into stuff the hard way. I receive excellent guidance here and it is always most appreciated. WOW! Just watched the video, and that may be the simplest method of doing a slide show, neato torpedo..thanks again.
