Video test with an Anamorphic lens

Postby sidd finch » Mon Oct 21, 2019 10:42 am

A video test trying out a Ulanzi Anamorphic lens with Sony RX0 II. I used an adapter lens ring and a ND filter which is why the results came out so-so. But it sure does make for a wide video. Comments always welcome.

It's definitely more cinematic, Sidd. Looks more like a widescreen Hollywood movie!

Thank you Steve. To me the edges seem a bit soft. I notice that you cannot get too closeup otherwise it does not focus well. I will have to compare this with a wide angle lens to see the differences.
