The man who shot Tutankhamun

Postby sidd finch » Sat Dec 01, 2018 12:56 pm

I watched this pretty amazing documentary called The man who shot Tutankhamum. Margaret Mountford travels to Egypt to discover the story of British photographer Harry Burton, whose images of the Tutankhamun excavation created a global sensation in the 1920s. Watching 100 year old technology in action is pretty amazing. What I found striking is that the glass plate technology used still has a better resolution than digital cameras.

I have heard about the man that shot Liberty Valance...but I always thought that Tutankhamun was already dead when they found him. Have I got this wrong? :fg:

At first, looking at the title to the post, I thought there was some theory about how King Tut was shot (by a gun), maybe by some random time traveler or aliens. I think in today's environment we may need to revise the term Shoot and Shot in film making LOL !!
