Bluetooth connection

Postby Paz_Pazzaz » Tue Feb 27, 2018 12:07 am

I've been shopping for a tiny RV. Some come with a stereo - CD, DVD player, blue tooth enabled radio system.

How could bluetooth connectivity be important in a camper?

My GoPro and Lumix cameras already connect with either my cell phone or tablet. Is there some other reason bluetooth would be particularly desirable?

thanks,

Paz

Bluetooth will allow you to play music from a cellphone through the entertainment system in the RV. The cellphone source might be music stored on the device, or streaming music from an Internet source. There may be other uses that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

If you have a Bluetooth enabled cell phone, you can use it hands free on your radio.

It is mainly used for connectivity to your smartphone for music and phone.

THANKS, guys! Good to know that's what it is for. The one I bought, a super light camper trailer, does not have it. I don't need it. No way I'm going to go out boondocking and run down the cell phone battery listening to music. (Thoughts of rattlers, moccasins and copperheads, flat tires, stuck in a ditch without a winch at hand...)

PerZactly!!! :TU:

Our unit is a 2018, with slightly different interior decorating and a 13,500 BTU AC in the roof instead of one through the wall, but this video shows a 2016 unit that is almost identical:

We'll put the gerbils on the bathroom counter, the parakeets on top of the closet, a bed for the chihuahua under the dinette table and the two of us will most likely be at each other's throats fill up the rest of the space. I'll be decorating with a yellow/tan/beige palm tree theme. I'll make a video to share when we get it here.

Oh, sold our boat several years ago now, and a tree smashed my Yata this past spring.

Fortunately it was insured. Mr. B says he's too tall to get down to 6" off the ground now. No more Yatas! [-( So I've opted for this instead. May the good times roll!

Good call not getting Bluetooth in the camper.

We'll put the gerbils on the bathroom counter, the parakeets on top of the closet

Imagine you are out recording a video for the day only to come back to the camper to discover that the Gerbil's are pumping the sounds of a screeching hawk super loud to terrorize the parakeet's while the chinchilla is laughing his head off :fg:
