Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Husband requested a peach pie this year. I froze peaches a few months ago with blackberries from my Aunt's garden.

They were yummy :-D My Mom was known for her lemon meringue pies. I used her recipe and her pie plate and think it came out the way she made them. Sadly with the younger generation not cooking much how many recipes will be lost forever.

With the staying in due to the pandemic I have to pace the baking. I do share with my daughter and grands that live near by.

How very true! I can't speak for other countries but in the UK an awful lot of the younger generation think that putting a ready meal in the microwave is cooking. How sad is that?
