Rule of Thumb for Font Sizes on Movie Menu

Postby prkraus » Fri Jan 08, 2016 8:03 am

I am working in the menu tool in Premiere Elements 13 creating a movie menu for a DVD. This menu could be viewed on anything from a laptop screen to a 60" TV screen. What is a good rule of thumb for the font sizes for the navigation buttons ("Main", etc.) as well as for the scene description buttons themselves? Thanks.

I'd say at the very least 14 points -- but 20 to be safe.

BTW, prkraus, is there a reason you post your questions in our Water Cooler forum? If they deal specifically with Premiere Elements 13, you'll often get better response when you post in our Premiere Elements 13 forum. That's where you're more likely to draw people with specific Premiere Elements knowledge.

Generally, the Water Cooler is for off-topic discussions that have nothing to do with video.
