Just when you thought it was safe to get rid of all your old cassette tape....

Sony says its new tape is capable of holding 185 terabytes, or 148 gigabits per square inch. At that much capacity, Sony's new tapes hold the equivalent of 11,840 16 gigabytes iPhone 5s devices -- or about 3,700 Blu-ray discs. The cassette tapes, which were developed with the help of IBM
