Good price. Any idea how long this promotion will last? Do you own & use BluffTitler? What's the learning curve?

This special discount is only valid for 2 days and ends tomorrow, August 6th.

To be an expert, the learning curve is quite a long time. To be able to do useful stuff, not very long at all.
They have excellent tutorials:

http://www.outerspace-software.com/manual.html

and

http://www.mediablitzed.com/
The 20 minute streaming tutorial on this site takes a long time to download, but is worth the time.

I usually take an existing "Show" and modify it to suite my needs. That's also a good way to learn how to use BT. Many shows come with BT and you can download many free ones from their gallery. Templates can also be purchased.

I agree with Peru. I purchased BluffTitler several years ago, but got away from editing for 3 or 4 years. I recently decided to start editing my home movies again. I was willing to purchase the software again, but first sent Michiel den Outer an e-mail. He graciously sent me my old registration keys and I was able to download and start using the latest version. (Free upgrades are great!)

Now I am working on a short "Ho Hum?... make that... OH! HUM!" clip of the HUMmingbirds, flowers and wild critters in my yard. After I get back up to par I will work on my "Chasing Waterfalls" travels.

It's feels great to be back on the Muvipix board. :::muvipix::: Howdy y'all! :wvy:

Are there other titler programs in this same general feature class and similar price range? Just wondering what to compare it to.

I don't think that there are any in this price range that are as powerful.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I know it's not AE, but for the money it would be hard to go wrong.

Paz, thanks for another resource to give me that "jump start" I so badly need. Humming to myself, "I'm back in the saddle again".

Wow, kitschy is right. :) But I can see that you can be as conservative or crazy as you want. The possibilities are endless. Had to add this one to my toolkit. Thanks for the intro tutorial Paz.

The 20 minute streaming tutorial on this site takes a long time to download, but is worth the time.

I got around to doing that late last night and discovered the content is the same as the two YouTube tuts I posted above... so if y'all want these tuts on your own hard drive, there it is!

I was unable to find any tuts on BixelAngelo. Anyone have any suggestions on where to find any?

thanks,

Paz
