Re: TV Gone WrongI think it says more about the ability of individuals to emulate the style of what the studios can produce.

Re: TV Gone WrongPretty clever and gets the point across. Isn't it cheaper to make a reality show than a series? What happened to the movie of the week or mini-series?

Re: TV Gone WrongDo you remember "The Winds of War". That was a wonderful mini series.

Re: TV Gone WrongNo, we haven't seen that one, but looking it up just now, perhaps that should be remedied. I have found several copies available at Ebay, none at Amazon. I cannot tell if it has subtitles. If I can find out for certain that it does, I'll order it.
I've recently purchased series 1 - 4 of Inspector Lewis, a PBS production. They are great. There are some copies of season 5 available and I think I'll order it soon. We were half way through The Far Pavilions when the Tour de France began. Need to get back to the 2nd half. So far, I must admit I liked the book(s) volume 1 and 2, better. Sounds as if the book, Winds of War is a goodie too. I do like to both read and watch when the stories are good ones.
