Anyone heard of ColorRight Pro ?

I got an email to get this tool for setting white balance and it looks pretty cool and is supposedly $130 on sale for $24.
So it seems too good to be true so a little leary.

Hi Tim,

Just curious, what did you decide to do? At $24, it's not out of line with other competing solutions. I'm sure it works, but I don't know that it's significantly better than the alternatives. I haven't used it. I noticed that ColorRight is now selling a version that lets you place alternate diffusing discs inside to warm up the color balance.

I've had excellent results using spectrally neutral white or gray cards to set a custom white balance. I keep a set of 4x5 cards similar to this in my camera bag. Some people have had inconsistant results with white cards. I fill up the viewfinder with the card and avoid glare and haven't had any issues. There are also translucent white balance diffusing disks that should work.

As most things I don't move too fast : ) so I haven't made the plunge...and still deciding.
