Re: Denali Zipline Adventure

Wow pretty fantastic. Awesomely cool and scary at the same time. I think in terms of storytelling the left arm shot was foreshadowing of events to come. :)

Re: My Daughter's wedding

Sounds like it ended well. Now the mountain of a challenge to edit. I could not see how professional wedding videographers could see straight. Gearing up for the next wedding while trying to edit the past wedding....ouch. But I am sure you will do an outstanding job. :) I really should get video of ...

Re: External monitor recommendation

I really like my Lilliput monitor it works pretty well.

But could you just use the wifi app and use your smart phone as a monitor?

Re: San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers

Thanks Ron thanks for the link to the camera mount. The DIY looks pretty cool and easy to set up. For me it just feels awkward to walk with to hands holding the camera at the same time. Must be something in my brain. Kind of like walking and chewing gum at the same time. :)

Re: Windows 10 Auto Update Mandatory ...

I agree with you Steve. I think 10 is the way to go too but I also like to wait till the dust settles before I upgrade. I am probably one of the few users who uses Windows 8 and like it.

Re: Windows 10 Auto Update Mandatory ...

I think you have about 10 months to decide if you want the free upgrade. You can always clone your hard drive and update windows 10 the cloned hard drive and just save the original drive. That way if you really don't like it you can put your old hard drive back in your machine and you are good to go...

And that is the difference in a nutshell. Trying to do something knuckleheadish is by definition knuckleheadish..... :hyst:

I hope you are on the mend :)

Re: McKinley Summit Flight

The pilots are pretty good. And thank goodness the plane started back up so you could get back. It looked pretty cold.

Re: Eye opening visit to Konstanz, Germany

Ron I really enjoyed that video. It was well done. Pacing was good. It made me want to Wikipedia the location to learn more. It was pretty impressive at how nice and clean their city is. The old architecture of the buildings really gives the location some charm. I also got a chuckle at how empty the...

Re: Split video clip & render each clip seperate

Welcome to muvipix a great place to get answers. Are you looking to have your final output 1 hour long video clip, or 60 one minute individual video clips? The output process (called rendering) converts the clips to the desired format. In this case you have chosen MPEG4. If you could provide a bit m...

Re: Use a Low Camera Angle for Landscape Photography

I agree and like the low angles but what ever is in the forefront becomes the subject and the landscape just becomes a beautiful backdrop. The shot with the tree stumps should have the tree stumps removed from the photo to focus on the landscape.
