Welcome Brian, and thank you for your involvement in the forum :)

I have a few more years to go before retirement but I sure can see how busy I am going to be !

When scanning for video/DVD presentation the images only need to be around 1024 x 768. When scanning, set the scanner to Pixel size and scan as close to 1024 x 768 as possible. I sometimes have scanned mine using the inch settings, at as close to 4 x 6 inches as possible and 200 dpi. Those sometimes...

It is still weird that the Paste Attributes is not active. Glad you have a way to handle it though :)

Just to go a into a little more detail;
after you create the oval or cirlce you can drag it anywhere, but I don't think there is a feature that will center it for you.

To get them all the same size, create one and then copy, paste and position them until you have as many as you want.

Bill, Don't use 'Copy' from Opacity, use the main menu; choose Edit, then Copy. After that the Edit/Paste Attributes will not be greyed out and you will be able to paste dozens of attributes at a time.

Please try this following the directions in my previous post exactly

You can also copy and paste into Notepad, don't use Wordpad because it formats kind of funny. You would need to clean up the paste in Notepad a little but it would work if you wanted to keep them available all the time.

I think Ken Jarstad keeps a notebook of some kind.

Hi Bill, I have never had any problems with this feature so I suggest you try it again. Select the clip on the timeline that contains the effects you want applied to other clips, then I always use the menu options Edit/Copy. You need to make sure to deselect the clip after adding all of your effects...
