Candle Effect

How do you make the candle glow in a pic? Saw this awhile back in Cinde's Memoriam proj. & most recently in Bob D.'s 18th bday project. Liked the way the 4 videos came in at the beginning and other pics in time w/music, Bob.

Re: Another cheesy video clip

Excellent video! Easy to understand and entertaining, bet your students love this. Wish I had something like this years ago when I was helping daughters with math. Youngest is taking A/P Cal now, any videos?

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

I uploaded the German Exch. on YouTube and it looks pixalated and not good quality (Like Muvipix :) ) Followed the YouTube settings from the adobe link, except...kept the fps at 29.9 since the youtube specs said 30 fps. Also, could not find the 'keyframe distance' on the advanced video settings in P...

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

Thanks Ron, no problems loading. I have never thought about the gallery file size and started thinking about what it takes to maintain this site, bandwidth, etc. and didn't want to go over my limit. I did delete some files in my album a while back just to dejunk.

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

Is there a limit on the file size in the gallery? A limit on the total album size?

Thanks for all of the info. I was almost a hacker and didn't know it.

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

Thanks for the new link. Read a few things on hotlinking. This is using someone else's bandwidth and when they go over their limit for the month the site will be charged? Went to YouTube and MySpaceTV and both provide the URL & the code to embed. I am confused, is this illegal or not depending o...

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

Thanks for the adobe link. Daughter's friends have embeded video from YouTube on their pages. Copy paste the embed code from YouTube. Hoping I could do the same from here.

Re: Pricing Guidelines?

Donna, that is great that you are offering the service as an item to raise funds for a non-prof. If you are hoping to get some business, you may want to lower the price. That way if someone does not get the bid they may want to hire you and the lower price will attract business. Seems word of mouth ...

Re: Embedding Video in Your Posts

Daughter wants to embed video on MySpace. Which is best, to upload here or Youtube for this purpose? If thru Muvipix, will the window look like the attachment of Lens Flare on this thread? Went to YouTube and here are their suggestions for best video quality: "YouTube accepts video files from m...

Re: The ever-growing site

Looks good! How soon is soon? I haven't burned my 2nd tennis DVD yet and will do that this week. I used the net motion background on the first one and would LOVE to use the New tennis one for the second DVD.

Re: Pricing Guidelines?

flyrobynfly, you have offered some excellent advice. I have researched to get slideshow/montage ideas. There is a big spectrum of services. Some offer packages and others are a long list of ala carte that would add up fast. What are some 'must haves' to get started in the business? I am guessing a s...
