Re: DVD Burn Software

I use Imgburn for almost all of my burning.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have a "copy" function-- you have to build an image and then burn the image.
So, if you need to copy a disc, other software like Record Now is more convenient.

Re: making dvd menu music loop

Did you click "apply default transition" in the menu properties for the audio? This will apply a crossfade and may do what you want. Yes, I tried it, thanks. It sounded better; it faded out, but stil had silence and an abrupt start. I'm fairly certain that the answer to that is no. Oh, we...

making dvd menu music loop

Is there a way to make the music for the main menu to play in a loop, instead of stopping for a brief moment and then starting from the beginning? :?:

Re: How do you line up pictures to be even

Is there a ruler or margin setting I can have set up on the monitor In addition to the other suggestions, you can use this free screen ruler utility: http://www.download.com/JR-Screen-Ruler/3000-2192_4-10063927.html It does not need to be installed as it runs from an .exe file (although I put the ....

I've given up on scanners alltogether, I use my camera. Just make sure the light is even, or do it outside on a cloudy (but dry) day.

Re: Changing the color of the background

Ok, another questions. Right now I'm working on a slide show. The background behind the still images is black. Is there anyway I can change the color. Assuming that you are putting the pictures into Pre El and then making the silde show... When you size the pictures before putting them into Pre El,...

Large format scanner

I would like to scan my wife's scrapbook pages which were not created digitally. The pages are 12" x 12". All of the large format scanners seem to be above $1100.00, a bit more than I can justify spending just for this. I have tried Panorama Maker, but found it to be awkward and time consu...

Re: vcr/playback for analog video when converting

Have you tried a different VCR? You might want to just try a few minutes with a couple different VCRs to see which will work the best. I am not sure if your Canopus model has TBC or not, that helps to keep things in sync. Someone here knows how it all works with the Canopus converters ;) I agree wi...

Best way to edit out 6 sec. of blur & black screen?

I am editing a clip of one leg of a 200 Medley swim race. For about 6 seconds, the person who filmed it had wiped off some fog from the lense, resulting in some camera shake, blurring, and black video. I'm trying to figure out the best way to overcome this without losing the continuity of the race. ...

Re: vcr/playback for analog video when converting

SO helpful! Thanks - hoping to hear from any Canopus users out there as to how much the vcr and cords do matter. I have found that cords did not matter much, as the quality of the old VCR tapes that I was capturing was not very high quality. I did have problems with some VCR players, in that not al...
