I don't know that there's a way to do this. But, believe me, if there is a way, I'm sure the best and brightest in the Muvipix community will figure it out! Meantime, you certain CAN create a custom preset -- which is essentially the effect with your custom settings applied. But I don't think that's...

I should have asked for a screen capture of George's timeline. There are a couple of things on a timeline that can cause similar problems.

When the DVD burn craps out at 98% it usually means that the DVD files have been produced but the program is having problems burning them to a disc. But that doesn't explain why you're not able to burn to a folder on your hard drive. In fact, it would seem to indicate that you won't have any problem...

Go to the program's preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and, on the General page, uncheck the option for hardware acceleration -- then try your burn again.

Just to be sure, burn to a folder that doesn't have any other files in it.

I can't imagine you'll have any problems upgrading a catalog from version 14 to version 2018. But we can certainly put this out there and see if anyone can relate any personal experience.

If you're using the Organizer's slideshow creator, you shouldn't need to resize your photos.

Though I suppose if you're getting weird croppings, it might be worth experimenting.
