I just purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T7 not long ago and I love it for video and photography. Also have a Canon XA20 which is a great less expensive low light camcorder. They aren't 4k or better but they get the job done. Only wish I could use it more, if I only had the time and the ambition ....

I think the Asus is a much better value, same RAM 16gb which is doable, much better graphics 6GB which is helpful in video editing, and the additional pluses mentioned by Peru Bob above. Both have the i7 processor and the same size screen. Both have a 512GB SSD hard drive but the Asus has the expans...
