Re: Can you identify this?

Not very large apparently. It looks like it was made to be pounded into a surface (piece of lumber? tree? roof? joist?) and then have something run through through the square hole to be supported away from the surface. Maybe one of a number which would be placed at intervals? Some kind of a mount fo...

Re: New 360 camera from Inst360

Pretty fascinating the way this technology is evolving. At that price, plus what you could have in accessories, including a VR headset, it’s not in a price range where the average person would buy just for the novelty and experiment. What worries me is how fast a unit bought today will become obsole...

Re: DVD Architect or Adobe Encore

DVD Architect Studio 5.0 is still available as a download. I know Amazon has it at $39.95. I’m not sure exactly what functions you need for browsing photos, but maybe just a slideshow and the pause button on your DVD/Blu-Ray player when you need more time on a particular one? I have no experience wi...

Re: What a decade it's been!

Nothing better than to earn a living doing what you love to do. It’s great you have that support and that it’s worked for you for ten years. Congratulations, and here’s to another 10 years!

I’ve heard so much about it and have been thinking of checking it out one of these days. Anybody else here ever tried the Internet?

Re: Ephemeral Video

I agree with all of the above, but I do feel that video done well is still unique and of value. I equate the difference between eating fast food and eating at a nice restaurant. There seems to still be an aspiration for a video done well. I agree that there are those that appreciate quality video a...

Re: Ephemeral Video

I don't think that the current generation cares much about archiving significant (or even simple) events. I think that the days like that are going quickly. We are overwhelmed with a volume of static that obscures the really important things in life. I think many of us here at Muvipix share and agr...
