Re: How to Zoom in and then back out in a clip?

1) You can zoom in and out on a clip or photo by using Motion keyframes. You can see the basics in our free Basic Keyframing tutorial. https://muvipix.com/products.php?searchphrase=keyframing&btn.x=0&btn.y=0 2) I believe you'll have to right-click on your video clip on the timeline and selec...

Re: Scratch disks

Once again I read too fast. Thanks for setting me right, Peru. Yes, a 4 TB drive makes an excellent second/data drive!

Re: Scratch disks

My guess is that the F drive is actually just a virtual drive -- a partition on the C drive for file storage -- not an actual physical drive.

My guess anyway. Otherwise I agree with Chris's suggestion.

Re: Scratch disks

As Peru Bob says, you can simply replace your hard drive with a new one. A 1 TB drive costs less than $50. The only problem with doing so is that your Windows license is locked to your drive, so you'd have to contact Microsoft and buy a new Windows 10 license, which costs about $150. (Maybe the expe...

Re: Has it really come to this.... Vertical Video

Upright video to me has all the cinematic thrills of looking through a keyhole. But oh well. Nobody ever said progress always led to improvement. After all, we've evolved into a people who speak into a device the will turn our words into text and send a message rather than just placing a phone call ...

Re: Why I hate new computers

There is some sort of process interrupting your work, but there's no way for me to diagnose what. New computers -- particularly from big manufacturers like Dell -- are notorious for adding bloatware, including unnecessary antivirus programs (McAfee?) that do more harm than good. If your computer cam...

Re: Scratch disks

Computers being as fast and efficient as they are, I'm not sure there's an advantage to customizing the location of your scratch disks -- so I'm not sure it's worth struggling. But if space on your hard drive(s) is at a premium it can lead to a number of other problems. How much free space is availa...

Re: Font Editors

I can't vouch for any of these editors, Paz.

I generally use my fonts right out of the box.

But I do know that Adobe Illustrator is also capable of customizing and creating font sets, if you have that.

Re: Why I hate new computers

I can't speak for why things work on one computer but not another. At least not without having the computers in front of me so I can dig through them and find out what's up. Or to ensure you've activated iTunes on both devices.

Re: Why I hate new computers

Your old computer had clearly accumulated the necessary components to play the file. If you'd like us to look at the file, open it in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the report it generates and paste it to this forum. You can also upload a sample of your MP4...

Re: Why I hate new computers

First, version 15 was released prior to Adobe's including Quicktime codecs in the program, so you'll need to install Quicktime 7 to access a lot of necessary components. You can elect not to install Quicktime Player (or you can disable the QuicktimePlayer.exe file by changing its suffix to old), but...

Re: How to create an animated shape

Animated graphics like that are usually created in a program like After Effects. It's pretty simple to create an animated circle or oval and then port it over to Premiere Pro. It's a bit more of a challenge in Premiere Elements, since the animated graphic would have to be output as a transparent mov...
